How to Search the Resource Database

The database stores detailed information about community agencies, programs and services provided. There are four different ways to search for information in the database.

Keyword/Service Search

• Enter one or more words to describe the service, (i.e., Job Search).
• The next screen will provide you with a list of service terms which mostly closely match your words.
• Review the list of service terms and click on the ones which closely matches the service you are looking for. To select more than one service, use the check boxes.
• Click Next
• All agencies and programs with the words you entered will be displayed.

Name Search

• If you know the name of the Agency you are searching for, enter the Agency name
• If you do not know the exact name of the Agency, entire any word in the name. For example, if you are searching for Child Welfare Services, but cannot remember the exact name, enter "Child Services" or "Child".
• Click Next
• All agencies and programs with the words you entered will be displayed.

Category Search

• Services will be listed below in a hierarchical manner.
• Click on the arrow next to a service or the name of the service itself.
• Once you see the appropriate search category, click Search.
• Click Next
• All agencies and programs with the words you entered will be displayed.
