Former PacBell Executive takes Executive Director Role for Hotline
San Luis Obispo – Hotline of San Luis Obispo is pleased to announce the addition of their new Executive Director Linda McGregor and the installation of the 2007–2008 Board of Directors; President, Tim Williams, Vice President, Cindy Johnson, Treasurer, Mitsi Davis, Secretary, Kristi Balzer, and Volunteer Representative, Jason Reed. With their combined years of experience and passion for the Hotline program, the new Executive Director and Board of Directors, are ready to transition Hotline to the 211 direct dial health and human services line.
Executive Director Linda McGregor came to Hotline in 1996, after retiring from Pacific Bell. During Linda’s 32 year career at PacBell she succeeded in a variety of areas such as; General Manager, Strategic Planning Manager, and Director of Training. Additionally, she represented the coin-telephone interests in the Los Angeles area on the 911 project conversion team. While at Hotline, Linda has helped fundraise, taken calls as a line volunteer, served on the Board of Directors since 2002, was Board President from 2005 – 2006, and has most recently been a key member of the 211 Steering Committee. Linda currently resides in Shell Beach.
Hotline of San Luis Obispo is a non-profit community service program that provides easy access to more than 600 health and human service programs and support groups, as well as round-the-clock crisis information.
